The Office of Community Relations (OCR) at Trinity College serves as a vital link, fostering and nurturing relationships between the College and a wide array of community stakeholders. This role extends beyond its core community partners, as the OCR also facilitates connections between various campus stakeholders, including faculty members, student clubs, and staff councils, and these partners.

Trinity College Child Care Center

The Trinity College Child Care Center (TC4) provides high-quality education to ages 6 weeks–5 years to the children of the surrounding Hartford community and the Trinity College community.

Capitol Squash

The mission of Capitol Squash is to empower youth of Hartford to reach their potential as athletes, students, and engaged citizens through the sport of squash, intensive academic support, mentoring and community service activities.

Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy

Trinity College and the Hartford Public Schools partnership started with Trinity’s support in building the learning corridor on Broad St. and the founding of the Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy (HMTCA). It now includes mutual beneficial programming such as a tutoring program and a Summer Writing Institute.

Cinestudio

Cinestudio is an independent non-profit theater open to the public, welcoming everyone to experience a diverse range of films. Known for showcasing independent and foreign films, as well as hosting special events like the Trinity Film Festival, and the CT OUT FILM Festival. They offer something for every film enthusiast.

Southside Institutions Neighborhood Alliance

Southside Institutions Neighborhood Alliance (SINA) is a partnership between Connecticut Children’s, Hartford Hospital, and Trinity College. SINA addresses key issues in south Hartford, focusing on housing, economic development, community engagement, and education.

Hartford Youth Scholars

Hartford Youth Scholars (HYS) empowers Hartford students—beginning when they are in middle school—to change their lives through education. HYS prepares scholars to earn a college degree by offering them access to exceptional educational opportunities and providing them with ongoing, comprehensive support.

Trinity College Boys and Girls Club

The Trinity College Boys and Girls Club is located on Broad St. and is the first club to be affiliated with a college in the United States. The club works with their members on programs focused on academic success, health and wellness, and character & leadership to name a few.

Dream Camp

Founded in 1998, Dream Camp is a summer camp and year-round academic mentoring program that provides fun, educational, and safe environment for participating elementary school through high school students on the Trinity College campus.
